More November memories - and some house updates

First, some cute pics of Max from school - at the end of each month, they share a link to pictures from the month and there were some great shots of my guy in November.
He LIVES for pack-a-lunch day!

A visit from the firemen!

Making Rice Krispie treats!

Working on a poster for a school project
She had to do a report on Saint Brigid

Another tooth fairy visit!
She got a dollar and a quarter

Lucy had a lot of fun playing basketball again this season!

Getting into the holiday spirit by going to see the new Grinch movie. The movie itself was just okay but hanging out with cousins and getting Icees is really what it's all about anyway!

Little cutie heading into school in her red, white and blue on November 11.

Cheering Ashley on in her Orange Crush vs. NCC game...her team won!

Letters to Santa! Max asked for Ninja Turtles and Transformers and Lucy asked for an American Girl doll kitchen.

*** A few house update ***

Lucy's beautifully purple room -
fresh paint, new carpet - looking good!

Max's blue room!

Curtains!
I couldn't decide what I wanted on the windows behind the couch so I kept putting it off...
For a while, we had blankets hanging over the windows which looked great.
Lucy had a sleepover in November and planned to sleep with her friends in the living room
and I realized it was time to make a decision.
I kept the packages / receipt for a bit in case we weren't loving it
but I think they're there to stay!

These alphabet stickers were on the wall in Lucy's room at the old house
and I was able to peel them off and re-apply them to the playroom wall in the new house

New light fixtures!

New flooring was priority #1 and we planned for appliances to be the next big step
This fridge is old and was pretty gross-looking but completely functional
We found / bought appliance paint and I painted it one afternoon -
what a difference the quick coat of paint made!
Unfortunately I've been unable to pry the ice / water dispenser off to paint or clean it
but it still looks lots better!
