This year, the kids dug into the dress-ups bin for their costumes. Max went with his Melissa & Doug construction worker vest, hat and goggles...looking good!
Lucy chose a Monster High costume - Draculaura, my favorite goulfriend!
Of course they love getting treats, but visiting the giraffes is always top priority!
Fiona was on the move, doing a lot of swimming back and forth - they loved watching her!

In the indoor area between the children's zoo and the train station, they had a few fun things set up - Lucy got her nails painted and both kids got tattoos on their hands.

They got a tasty ice cream treat and we sat and watched the magic show. We've watched the same guy do basically the same show the last 3+ years...but Lucy especially loves it every time.
This guy could take or leave the magician...as long as he's got an ice cream cone to...drink...
We wrapped it up and headed out - zoo'ing all day is exhausting!
We stopped at a Halloween store after to browse around - and to get some purple hair spray for Lucy for Halloween. They had a ton of fun goofing off in that store!
Next, we made a quick stop at Meijer - and they brought Alex & Patty in the double stroller with them...so cute!
Alex & Patty wanted to go to Skyline for dinner, too...
