Both kids had soccer games on Saturday and then we went to the Fall Festival in Cold Spring - in front of Walnut Hills Academy - for a bit.
It was our second year going to this event and we love it! It's so nice - a completely free event full of snacks and fun! Top priority for these two - Kona Ice!
They saw a bunch of their friends and hung out with them in the bounce houses, on the hayride and in the snack lines!
After they'd exhausted all of their food and drink tickets, they were ready to leave...which was perfect timing because Lucy was meeting some friends at Paint & Bake that night to make / decorate clay pumpkins. We love that place!
Lucy was in the back with her friends taking the class and Max and I were up front where he painted something festive of his own.
After the class, Lucy had a few friends over for her very first sleepover!
Success! They stayed up late dancing, making slime, decorating and eating cupcakes and watching movies.
The next day, we met up with GranJan, Auntie Ema, Lukey & Ellie for a fun afternoon at Jack-O-Lantern Junction.
They love the funhouses! They get so scared but can't resist going through all of them - such a fun thrill! I personally get pretty freaked out in the one with all of the mirrors and keep yelling, "Lucy, is that the real you!?" and "stay together!" and make someone hold my hand...
