Another busy Fall weekend

Since we love the Fall and all of the activities it offers so much, we try to cram in as many adventures as possible!

The weekend after Jack-O-Lantern Junction, we went to a trunk-r-treat event at St. Joe...and the next day, we assembled our crew and headed to Coney Island's Fall-O-Ween.

For trunk-r-treat, Lucy wore her official Halloween costume - she was Mal from The Descendants. GranJan bought the costume for her and she was mighty pleased with it. She even had me spray her hair purple that night to truly be in character.
Max dug into the dress-ups bin again and wore hid TNMT Leonardo costume.

On Sunday, me and my kids, Ema and her kids plus GranJan headed up to Coney - and we were able to persuade the Hicks gals to meet us there, too! Such fun!

Carousel rides, trick-r-treating throughout the park, LOTS of time spent on the little Frog Hopper ride, bumper cars, big yellow sack-slide, roller coasters...everyone had a blast!

Lucy continues to get braver and braver...and wanted to repeatedly ride the roller coaster. Below is my "please don't make me do this again" face!

The last time Max was at Coney, he was too small for the Viking ship. I was secretly pretty happy when we sent Daddy & Lucy & Grandma on the ride while we walked around...but this time he was big enough (with an adult) and really wanted to do it...despite my smile, I wasn't super pumped...and as truly indicated on his face, Lukey wasn't loving it either!

More roller-coaster-ing...

Heading home after a fun-filled day!
