Cotton candy! |
The kids wanted ti walk around a bit - and meet the pups, of course!
Max had no shortage of Paw Patrol clothes to wear - even Paw Patrol socks and shoes! - and Lucy still had her "Sis Patrol" shirt from Max's 4th birthday - aren't they cute?!
When we were walking around, we saw that Marshall was on a break and the line was already getting long to wait for him. We had to decide if we wanted to walk around to find Skye's line or if we wanted to wait...ultimately, Ellie decided she wanted to see Skye but the others wanted to wait for Marshall. They were pretty excited once they got up there to see him!
GranJan AKA Crazy Lady bought all four of them hockey sticks! As part of our ticket package, they all received a keepsake Paw Patrol hockey puck so she felt like they needed a coordinating stick... |
The team even wore Paw Patrol jerseys! I am sure most of them had no idea what they were even wearing...
The kids had fun playing with their sticks and pucks back at GranJan's...and miraculously, no one got hurt and nothing got broken!
Soon it was time to sing to the birthday boy! Luke helped me put the candles on the brownie cake - we found a bunch of letters from a set that originally spelled "Happy Birthday" and I jokingly asked Luke, "Does your dad like the letter Y?" and he ran into the other room asking, "Daddy, do you like the letter Y?" He ran back and forth for a few letter and then said, "My dad likes all the letters!" - so we stuck all the letter candles we could find on there!
Love this pic of my brother! He looks pretty happy about all of those letters! |
