Aren't they cute in the Santa outfits?! We got Max's Santa suit on clearance one summer at H&M, funny enough...he wore it last year and loved pretending to be Santa - making people sit on his lap and pulling gift out of a big bag...we were excited it still fit this year! Lucy got her dress from GranJan...precious!
Once we got there, they played with their cousins a bit and we all ate breakfast. But soon it was time to go in "the big room" to see what Santa had left there and exchange gifts with each other.
To see how much joy a giant bottle of glue brings a kid (to make slime, of course) will never stop being super freakin' weird...

| All four of them got a Sruff-a-Luv pet - A mangy stuffed animal squished into a ball that you have to get wet and brush ("groom") into a fluffy stuffed animal. They all had fun with that part but no, they do not become soft and fluffy and cute like the box suggests... But they all love their pets! Coming up with names for them was also really fun - Lucy named hers BowWow Max named his Cat Loop (??) Luke named his Bingo Ellie named hers Elsa (shocking!) |

Later, the fun continued when the Hicks family joined us for dinner, a funny gift exchange and some silly games like one where you have to speak with a mouthgaurd in and people have to try to understand what you're saying - we all looked fabulous!
