Christmas break bucket list - part 1

We made a little bucket list of things we wanted to do over Christmas break again this year...but first thing's first - gotta start playing with some of our new toys! They both got small Lego sets and wanted to work on those one morning.

After getting dressed in one of her awesome new outfits, Lucy wanted to break out the slime kit from Aunt Amy. She got this outfit from Grandma & Grandpa and was super excited about the jeans...ever since she saw her after-school teacher wearing "ripped up jeans" at Walnut Hills Academy, she'd been dying for a pair of her own. Funny enough, Kathy told me she didn't mean to grab a "ripped up" pair and didn't even realize she did until she went to wrap them. A pretty happy accident!

Slime time!
This Elmer's kit came with some fun colored glue as well as some glow-in-the-dark glue...fun!

Sticky situation...

We took it into the bathroom to see how well it glowed...very well! We spelled out their names in slime on the counter top.

Later that night, we went to Coney Island Christmas Nights of Lights. We didn't make it before Christmas but still wanted to see them. This is only our second year going but it's a now tradition we love!

Lucy took the wheel for a bit!

The next day, we went to SkyZone - they love that place! Lucy and I went for the first time for a birthday party but we've been back several times and even took Ashley with us once.

Maxyboy sure is a climbing fool...

They bounced out quite an appetite and wanted Wendy's for lunch.

Later, we went back home to play one of the new games we got from Santa - Don't Step in it! You literally make piled of "poo" out of the putty that comes with the game and line it up on the mat. Then you have to walk a certain number of steps, blindfolded, without stepping in any poo...

The next day, we had Skyline for lunch and then went bowling.
