On New Year's Eve we went to the Cincinnati Museum Center to activate our family membership we got for Christmas...and we weren't the only ones!
The lobby was PACKED so Dave and I took turns waiting in the line while the other roamed with the kids. There was a "New Year around the world" area set up where they got to learn about the celebration in different countries and have their "passports" stamped.
But finally, it was time to go in (seriously at least 45 minutes later). We looked at the Lego exhibit first - such cool stuff!
Maleficent! |
They both rode the train...but didn't sit together...goofballs...
In the play-vet area, Max kenneled himself and grabbed a dog bowl and pretended to be a pup... |
Later that night, we played a few games before calling it a night long before midnight.
Happy New Year from these sweeties!
Town & Country fun! We may miss being members of the YMCA when summer comes since T&C has no outdoor pool but their indoor pool is so much more fun!!!!
The kids & I went to see a movie over break, too (Dave must have been bowling or something...can't remember). We saw Into the Spiderverse. We've started taking our blankets to the movies with us and they each asked to bring a stuffed animal to cozy up with in the recliners. All the comfort was too much for Maxyboy and he went straight to sleep for about a half an hour in the middle of the movie! Lucy and I really liked the movie, though!
More fun games later that night - Pie in the face! Lucy thought it was super hysterical and couldn't stop laughing and absolutely loved it. Max cried the first time he got hit in the face. If you had told me in advance that one would love it and one would cry, my money would have been on the opposite.
