Dave and I got to meet our new niece the day she was born but Lucy & max had yet to meet their newest cousin. Finally, we were able to make the introductions happen when we invited Nikki & Steven over to see the house and show off their girl some more. Max was so happy to meet her...Lucy, too, but Max really likes holding babies!

GranJan bought Max a preschool book to celebrate "back to school" and he really enjoyed doing some "homework" - hopefully that enthusiasm continues when it's the real deal!

After one of Lucy's soccer games at Pendery, GranJan treated the kids to an ice cream treat...Max was a sticky mess! She invited us over to cool off and clean off with the hose...
Max got a hold of the hose and cooled GranJan right off, too!
