November memories

The kids started November off with some squeaky clean teeth...the day after Halloween, and we were at the dentist's office bright and early!
It was Max's first visit and while he was intrigued by watching Lucy and loved getting to choose some new little toys, sticker and tooth brush, he didn't really want the dentist or nurse anywhere near his chompers...maybe next time!

The next evening, we took advantage of the nice weather and got out the wagon walked across the street for a nature walk along the nature trail - I'd printed off a sheet of things to look for so Lucy had fun with that...but then reminded me she'd done a similar sheet with her Girl Scout troop recently.

We had a fun-filled Saturday on November 19th - a trip to the museum in the morning and Ellie's first birthday party that night!
Pet vet Lucy Meyers!

Tooth-surfin' fool Max Meyers!

Maxy made a friend!

I had picked up a couple of costumes on clearance after Halloween, including this pink Batgirl costume, and Lucy insisted on wearing it to Ellie's party.

November random cuteness:
Lucy being fabulous
She made Dave and I ask her for her autograph
Notice the flip phone...this was Dave's actual cell phone up until about a year ago...

Lovely Lucy before school one day

Loving life at Ms. Shelly's house

Out to dinner with my besties before the book fair at Lucy's school

I love the daily pictures I get of my wacky boy from Ms. Shelly!

Max made another friend...this time at the library...he's much more social than Lucy was at that age (or still is, for that matter).  If she'd been playing with the magnets and another kid came over to join her, she'd have walked away to play something else.
Max buddies up right away!

Being my silly shopping partner...one minute he was playing with the blanket -
hiding and peek-a-boo'ing and the next minute, he was snuggled up with it, sound asleep!
