Halzooween

We went to the zoo on Saturday for "Halzooween!"  Once again - like our days at the pumpkin patches - it was a cold day but we still had a great time!  It was just our little family...Maxy put on his dinosaur costume (that I'd gotten for a couple of bucks at a consignment sale) and Lucy opted to wear her Snow White costume from last year.

Roar!

Lucy ate every piece of candy she got immediately upon receipt - good thing there weren't that many treat stations!  Funny enough, one of her favorite things she got was one of those pins in the shape of a ribbon.  Usually I've seen them as Breast Cancer Awareness symbols but the one she got was for the Red Cross.  She wanted to wear it right away and wanted to wear it to school this week, too!

This poor little dino had no idea we were even at the zoo...he fell asleep on the way there and didn't wake up until we were on the way back home!  It was just as well since it was so cold - he stayed nice and warm in the stroller!
