Festival fun

Lucy went to the St. Therese festival for a bit on June 21 with Grandma and Troy where she had a great time.
Tonight we plan to go to the St. Thomas festival and recently we went to the St. Pius festival.

We saw Uncle Jeff, Auntie Ema and cousin Luke as soon as we got there and chatted with them for a bit but Lucygirl couldn't wait to go hop on some rides!  She's so brave and adventurous these days!  Once we'd purchased our ride tickets, we were trying to decide what to ride first when we spotted Charlie.

They were mighty cute riding together!

The next thing Lucy wanted to do was ride a pony...while in line, she pointed out which one she wanted to ride and we were a little nervous because there were several kids in line ahead of us...but luckily it worked out and she ended up on the one she'd chosen!

Next she wanted to ride the teacups but she needed a partner...this lucky Mama drew the short stick...as we were spinning around, Lucy yelled, "We're getting dizzy!"
Indeed.

It was super cute watching her ride things by herself...such a big girl!

After rides, we played some games and then got a snack...she surprised me by choosing chocolate ice cream...which she shared with Daddy - and got all over herself.

And this kid?  Well, he's pretty much amazing!

We're excited for more festival fun tonight!
