Christmas Day!

Christmas morning in pictures...all Maxy wanted was Paw Patrol toys and Lucy really wanted a Hatchimal and accessories for her American Girl doll. Both kids were beyond thrilled!

After we had some time to play with new toys and eat breakfast, it was time to start getting ready for Christmas at Grandma & Troy's!
Lucy wore another kids sale find and Max wore another Charlie hand-me-down!

Max was pretty excited to get such a "ginormous" gift (his new favorite word) - Paw Patrol art supplies!

Lucy was so happy about a new American Girl Wellie Wisher - Ashlyn...apparently she'd been wanting her "forever!"

She had a loose and dangling tooth that she refused to set free so she's got a snaggle-smile in all of the Christmas photos...

We were all excited about Max's new real, working megaphone!

 Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve & more break fun

On Saturday, December 23, we had a play date at Claire & Karli's house - they'd recently moved and we were anxious to check out their new place!

They all had fun exploring and playing with just about everything - at least for a minute or two. And baby Rory was there, too, showing us her new trick - crawling!

Lunch time!

The next day was Christmas Eve! Such a busy but wonderful day...as always, we started our day at Bob Evans for breakfast.
Little fashionista sure had a lot going on -
Candy cane leggings, fuzzy boots, cheetah-fur lined coat, and festive headband!

Last year Maxy got so much syrup all over him that I had to remove his shirt and zip him into his coat to leave...
He did much better this year but still smelled like syrup all day...

Back at home, we made out cookies for Santa...yum!

Soon, it was time to get ready for church. Lucy wore a dress I'd gotten on clearance over the summer at Crazy 8 and Max wore an Old Navy shirt I found at a consignment sale with some hand-me-down pants and a sweater from Charlie - they were his school uniform clothes!

 Happy kids!

These two sure love their godfathers!
