Lucy cuteness

I've been intending to create this post for nearly a month now so at this point, I'm just going to make it short and sweet and let the cute photos do most of the talking.

Lucy and I went to Color Me Mine to celebrate Ava's mom's birthday - these two girls love being silly together!  And Lucy painted a very artistic Hello Kitty plate.

Lucy started taking gymnastics at the end of July.  My mom got her 3 months of classes at a silent auction at a St. Joe's fundraiser.  Since she began, she's perfected her front roll and has already gotten better at her version of a cartwheel.  Her favorite part is always the bouncing on the big trampoline at the end of class.  She's one of the only girls in her class who can't pull herself up on the rings to flip over (the teacher always assists her) so we bought a set for our swing set at home where she can practice.

After only going to school three days a week (Tues-Thurs) over summer, Lucy recently started back to going all five days (since Daddy's back to school, too - his new school!) so we called it her first day of Pre-K and got her a new dress.  Next year she'll be a kindergartner!!!

While we were in Gatlinburg, Lucy saw a video on YouTube of kids making dresses out of glitter Play-Doh for clip dress dolls.  She became obsessed!  All she talked about was wanting some glitter Play-Doh!  Grandma and Grandpa even checked in several shops in Gburg to try to make her dreams come true but didn't find any...and once we were home, Lucy made her own by adding glitter to some of our existing Play-Doh and got right to work on gorgeous new attire for her clip dress dolls, as shown below.  A couple of days later, Grandma & Grandpa delivered her some non-DIY glitter Play-Doh and she was in heaven!

GranJan and Grandpa got a little confused and put Lucy in her car seat upside down...
