A Lucy encore

Not long after she started at Kids & Cribs, Lucy was selected as the "star student."  We got to make an All-About-Lucy poster (remember Sept 2014?).  She got to bring in activities and treats and she also took a disposable camera.  Her teacher took pics of her over time and once the film was up, she gave the camera back to me to develop.  I'm a little behind in posting these photos - they're from Sept-Nov 2014...enjoy "school Lucy!"

More "Lucy says the darnedest things":
Often, Lucy likes to pick out Max's pajamas.  Last weekend, she picked him out a pair of cotton pajamas.  Next, she went into her room to choose her own pair.  She had chosen a fleece pair for herself so she ran back into Max's room and said she was going to trade his out.  She put the cotton pair back and pulled out a fleece pair "so we can be snuggle buddies!"

Tuesday night Lucy was anxious for me to play "dance class" with her but I was still feeding Max.  She asked me, "When are you going to be done feeding that infant?"

I've been trying to encourage her to make more friends at school because she still says Ava's her best friend and she's not friends with anyone else.  Ava only goes to K&C Wednesday through Friday so I just wonder how her Mondays and Tuesdays go...
But the other day I asked her who she played with and she told me, "I talked to Karys at lunch!"  I asked, "Oh, yeah?  What did you two talk about?" and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said "Food!"

Another example of hearing a word and trying to use it...she was playing and said, "I'm a vicious man!"  We're not sure where she heard the word "vicious"...

Last week Dave was giving the kids a bath.  It's hard to wash Max from the waist down since he's so wobbly and can't stand on his own...so he handed Lucy the washcloth and asked her to wash Max as he held him up.  Lucy complied but said, "I'm washing a baby's junk!"
