Max the Pre-School Graduate!

In May, Max's school - Walnut Hills Academy in Cold Spring - had a preschool graduation ceremony. It was outside and it was a little chilly but it was short and sweet - and adorable! I left work for a bit to go watch but then I went back to work. A couple of his friends got to leave with their parents after the ceremony and he was a little disappointed that he didn't get to leave, too, but he got over it. 

Each kid had a chance to speak into the microphone and say what they plan to be when they grow up and display a drawing of themselves. When it was Max's turn, he said, "When I grow up, I want to be a worker man!"

They got a chance to showcase things they've learned this year - like songs about colors, their addresses, etc. - and then they sang an adorable song complete with hand gestures.
I'm movin' UP to kindergarten!
