More February fun

In February, Ashley's basketball team - Orange Crush - played a charity game against some NCC kids to raise money for Special Olympics. Chloe & Brady helped put it together and we had so much fun watching A play!

Even superheroes get tired sometimes!

Lucy earned herself a pajama day and a crazy sock day at school for selling BlueJay Nest Egg raffle tickets!

Daddy left them each a note one Saturday when he was gone for a track meet before they woke up ...they were pumped!

Grown-ups night out! PTO-sponsored wine tasting - big fun with our friends, the Cassesas!

The day after, I realized I had strep throat and spent the morning waiting at various urgent cares / little clinics before finally getting a prescription...meanwhile, Lucy and her basketball team were playing in a tournament and earning trophies!

A warm day in February!

I love taking pictures of them when they sleep! No matter how many times Lucy calls me a creeper, I'll keep doing it!

Rocks they found

Another head injury!
He ran right into a door at school, poor guy

A visit from the tooth fairy!
She got one dollar and one quarter

I love seeing pics of Max at school! Once a month, they send us a link for all of the photos they'd taken that month.

February highlights

In February, we went to the Shriner's Circus - always a good time!
Troy got us tickets for Christmas and we'd been looking forward to it...exciting things to see, yummy treats to eat, and pony rides on the floor at intermission!

Lucy got invited to a birthday party at Sky Zone - our first time going there...cool place!

She liked it there so much that she and I decided to take Ashley there a week or two later to celebrate her birthday (since we'd been unable to attend her birthday party):

Hoop shooting contest - Ash won!

A wanted Chipotle but Lucy wanted McDonald's so we made both happen!

**************************************

We celebrated Grandma & Aunt Amy's birthdays in February, too, with dinner and dessert at our house. The kids of course made their sprinkles-saturated special cupcakes!

And of course, we celebrated Valentine's Day!
I got to go to the classroom party at Lucy's school - and got to see pics of Max's party...
At the library party, decorating their own cookies

Lucy made one that looked just like the heart on her dress - without even meaning to or realizing it until I pointed it out!

Max got to make his own Valentine's box - this was a first-time-thing in my house -
Lucy has always used bags or something she made at school for her parties
He wanted it to look like Marshall's firetruck (from Paw Patrol)
