February picture post

Cute pictures of my guy from his pre-school, Walnut Hills Academy:

Cute Dirty dogs after playing in the mud by Grandpa's shed:

Lucy and Max as their alter-egos, DJ Fart-a-doodle and DJ Swaggy Pants:

My poor girl - one morning, everything was normal - she got up and got ready for school and was being her goofy self all the way through when I dropped her off. But by noon, the school nurse was calling me to say Lucy was shivering and had a fever of 102.8!
I picked her up and she slept on the couch the rest of the day...but by the next day she was already feeling better!

Besties

The fabulous Lucy-girl!

Wacky / mismatch day at school - a Christmas sweatshirt, very busy leggings, some crimped hair, silly sock and some seriously wacky poses!

Max in his element - he loved his basketball league!

Seeing The Lego Movie 2 - Mom was probably the most excited!

Playing Pictionary

Meeting baby Kenzie (my cousin Karen's sweet daughter)!
Max was so excited but acted pretty shy,,,but he sure loved her (so did Lucy and I!)

goofy girl!

February Fun

Lots of excitement in February -
Maxy got a big boy bed, we celebrated Grandma & Aunt Amy's birthday and of course - Valentine's Day!

Big boy bed step one was changing the frame from the toddler bed setup to the full-size set up. The boys handled that with a little team work while Lucy snapped some photos!

Thumbs-up from Lucy (and her dirty hand)

I ordered him this mattress from Amazon which was funny and amazing. It arrived vacuum-sealed in a tall slender box straight to our front door and we had to cut the plastic wrap from it and let it inflate. Max says it's very comfy.

The finishing touch was, of course, his Paw Patrol bedding!

Making a cake for Grandma & Aunt Amy:

We had the birthday girls over to our house for dinner and cake one night but then on the evening of Grandma's actual birthday, we went to her house for some day-of fun! Happy Birthday, Grandma!

Valentine's Day cuteness -
Max and Lucy both had to decorate a box for their classroom parties. Lucy wanted hers to be mermaid-themed and Max wanted his to be a Ninja Turtle. He found one online that he liked the looks of and basically copied it exactly. But he did all of the work and was very proud of the great job he did.

Lucy did everything on hers, too - I was only there to take photos and find more supplies per their requests.

Little Valentine cuties!

We celebrated a little that evening at home, too - a small gift for each of them plus I'd breaked and baked some cookies!
