Happy Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year, my brothers and I gifted our mother with tickets to see Alabama at BB&T. First, we all went to dinner the headed to the concert.

Troy was able to hook us up with a couple of great seats - but the other 3 were up high. For the opening act, my parents sat up close but between acts, my dad and I switched seats and us girls enjoyed the show together...and what a great show it was!

Even though they didn't play "Christmas in Dixie" (which is her year-round ringtone),
she LOVED it and had such a great night!
Successful Mother's Day!

On Mother's Day, we went to brunch at Barleycorn's with Grandma & Troy like usual.

With help from dad, the kids made me cards & a sunny craft!

T-ball & other May memories

Max (green shoes and green glove) had a fun t-ball season! This was his second year playing and he got a bit more aggressive! He still prefers batting to being in the field but he was able to snag a ball or two this year. 

Last year, he even threw his glove in frustration when other kids got to balls before him...this year, it didn't quite get to that point.

But a few times, he tried to get a ball and then would turn to us in the stands and show us his empty glove...poor guy...

One day, Lucy and a few select students got to go on a special field trip to NKU - and thanks to Troy, she had the perfect shirt to wear!

We got to experience quite range of weather this season - from sweating to shivering!

Max loves going to Lucy's practices - which is lucky because she practices on Thursday nights while Daddy has bowling or softball. He gets to play in the gravel path and usually has several friends there to play with.

Sometimes we pack a dinner and scarf it down before heading over to the gravel path to play
